As the spring market enters into full gear, we continue to stabilize from the buying frenzy of over a year ago.
 
The median sales price slipped year over year for the second time since the pandemic era began but still remains slightly above pre-pandemic levels of 2019 according to the Douglas Elliman first quarter market report.
 
Nearly flat inventory remains a major driving force except in the luxury market where sales above 4 million faired well with bidding wars increasing by 11%.
 
Douglas Elliman's Public Relations department recently released their latest national press report numbers for 2022, produced by the news monitoring service, Meltwater. Between January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2022, Douglas Elliman appeared in 34,593 articles with a potential reach of 167 Billion, equating to an ad value of $1.5 Billion.
