With mortgage rates pending a decline and an increase in new listings, buyers who had been hesitant now demonstrate a renewed sense of interest to find the perfect home. Although this shift in the market is expected to bring more competition, we are seeing an increase in new contracts and fewer days on the market, indicating a renewed sense of urgency among buyers.
🍅For the first time since 2019, the number of new condo listings in early summer has outpaced new co-op listings. This trend highlights a growing preference for the flexibility that condos offer.
🍅Brooklyn’s resale condo market is heating up. Compared to last year, successful sellers in Brooklyn are positioned to achieve higher profits, outperforming other boroughs.
